For many golfers, winning the Masters is probably their ultimate goal and the biggest accomplishment in their career.
The tournament, one of the four men’s major golf championships on the calendar, awards the winner with the iconic green jacket, which has only been worn by a few chosen players.
This year, the tournament will be held from Monday, April 8 to Sunday, April 14 at the Augusta National Golf Club, in Augusta, Georgia.
Jon Rahm, the winner of the 2023′s event edition, will try to defend the title, but he will face fierce opposition from players like the world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland, or Xander Schauffele, among other top golfers.
Who’s the youngest golfer to win the Masters?
Scheffler became one of the youngest players ever to lift the Masters’ trophy, aged 25 years, and nine months. However, he was four years away from being the youngest golfer to ever wear the green jacket at the end of the event. That honor belongs to Tiger Woods, who won the tournament for the first time in his career in 1997, at the age of 21, three months, and 14 days.
